Summary
In the Netflix series Making a Murderer jury bias is seen in February 2007, when the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel discovered that one of the jurors has a son who works for the Manitowoc Sheriff’s Office. Also, one of the juror’s has a wife who was working at the Manitowoc County clerk’s office, which was accused of leaving Avery’s blood unsecured, allowing sheriff’s deputies to plant evidence against him. There were other reports that said some of the jury members that heard the Avery cases had a bias towards him more on his second conviction due to his 1st accused crime in which he developed a negative reputation across the county and some parts of the United States.
